About the Book:

A young teenager, torn within a dysfunctional family and afflicted by major depression, sets out in an inner journey of spiritual quest, which he believes would absolve him from suffering. In his diary, he begins to pour his spiritual pursuits and they slowly transform into prayers. His search takes him to the Divine Man he considers his Master, to whom he offers the diary. The Master instructs him to write a collection of poems instead and have it published. In the entire course of completing the book, he realizes that he has been so busy in materializing the wish of his living Master, that all the miseries of his life he has completely forgotten; and his mental peace has been restored in the process. He begins to believe, the inclination towards whom could bring a final solution to his scattered life, and within whom-love, knowelge and activity- are spontaneous, is his God.

About The Author

Srijib Karmakar is pursuing his PhD in Bioscience and Bioengineering in Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, and originally hails from the earstwhile princely state,Tripura. He has been writing in Bengali from a very early age but never had his writings published until the Acharyadev of Satsang Deoghar, Rev. Ashok Chakravarty (Parampujyapad Sri Sri Dada) instructed him to publish his work. It is his first publication.
