About The Author
Shri Radheshyam “Betab” was born on 16 March 1963 in Village Arsiya Bazar, Post Bazar Arsiya, District Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, into a humble and virtuous middle-class family. He completed his education up to the Senior Secondary level and also underwent three years of training with the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
From an early age, he developed a deep interest in literature, music, stage performance, writing, singing, and instrumental music. During his youth, by the grace of his revered Satguru, he attained Brahma Gyan (spiritual enlightenment), after which spiritual discourses (Satsang), selfless service (Seva), and spiritual practice became integral parts of his life. Today, he remains deeply committed to promoting organic farming, simple living, vegetarianism, and a drug-free lifestyle.
The life of Shri Radheshyam “Betab” stands as an inspiring example of perseverance, selfless service, and spiritual devotion. Despite remaining closely connected to his rural roots, he has made literature and folk culture the foundation of his creative expression. His writings beautifully reflect the depth of personal experience, human emotions, and spiritual contemplation.
His first published book, “Betab Laharen” (Part–1), received immense appreciation and affection from readers. Inspired by that overwhelming response, the poet now presents “Betab Laharen” (Part–2), once again sharing his emotions, thoughts, and philosophy of life with his readers.
