About The Author:

Dr. Madhusudan S is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Maharanis Science College for Women, Maharani Cluster University, Bangalore. He holds an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Bangalore University, an M.Phil. in Biotechnology from Bharathidasan University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Mysore. With 22 years of teaching experience, his areas of specialization include Microbial Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering.

Dr. Arun Jyothi Mathias is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Microbiology at Maharani Cluster University, Bengaluru. He obtained his M.Sc. from St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore, and his M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Bangalore University. With 32 years of teaching experience, his areas of specialization include Molecular Biology, Bacteriology, Microbial Physiology, and Medical Microbiology.

Dr. M. Bhushanam is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Zoology at Dr. Dayananda Pai–Dr. Sathish Pai Government First Grade College, Government of Karnataka, Mangalore. He obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Bangalore University. With 24 years of teaching experience, his areas of specialization include Molecular Biology, Zoology, Physiology, and Cytogenetics.

Dr. Dakshayini P. N. is a Professor in the Department of Zoology at Government First Grade College for Women, Chintamani, Government of Karnataka, Chickaballapura. She obtained her B.Ed., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Zoology from Bangalore University. With 20 years of teaching experience, her areas of specialization include Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, and Zoology.

Dr. Babitha B. is currently serving as the Head of the Department of Biotechnology at Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women Autonomous, Bengaluru. She obtained her M.Phil. from Bharathidasan University and her Ph.D. from Bangalore University. Her areas of specialization include Molecular Biology, Plant Biotechnology, Biofuel Research, and Nanotechnology. She has 24 years of teaching experience.

Dr. Santanu Das is currently working as Professor and Head of the Department of Biotechnology at Seshadripuram First Grade College, Bengaluru, Karnataka. He obtained his M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Bharathidasan University, Tamil Nadu. With 23 years of teaching experience, his areas of specialization include Environmental and Plant Biotechnology.

Dr. Ashoka C. H. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Zoology at Dr. Dayananda Pai–Dr. Sathish Pai Government First Grade College, Government of Karnataka, Mangalore. He obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Zoology from Mangalore University, Mangalore. With 27 years of teaching experience, his areas of specialization include Molecular Biology and Cytogenetics.
