About The Author:

Shaik Murtuza Illahi is a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer, Welding Technologist, and Technical Trainer with more than 40 years of professional experience in industrial production, welding, metal fabrication, and technical education in India and Saudi Arabia.
With over 22 years of professional training experience, he has planned and conducted specialized welding technology programs for technicians, engineers, and industrial personnel, with particular expertise in SMAW and pipe welding.
His practical specialization includes pipe welding in 2G, 5G, 6G and 6GR positions, along with TIG, SAW and other welding processes. He has conducted short-term welding training and certification programs for organizations including Saudi Electricity Company and other industrial companies in Saudi Arabia.
Throughout his career, he has prepared comprehensive training manuals covering SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, TIG, CO₂/MAG welding, pipe welding, fabrication and metalworking, combining classroom instruction with practical demonstrations and hands-on training.
