About The Author
Dr. Kanchan Awasthi is an accomplished academician currently serving as Associate Professor in the Department of Botany and Deputy Dean of the Maharshi School of Sciences. She completed her Ph.D. in 2011 from Lucknow University, specializing in Heavy Metal Toxicity in Vegetable Crops. With a strong inclination towards research and development, Dr. Awasthi has dedicated her academic career to studying plant toxicity, particularly the effects of heavy metals on plant systems. Her research interests focus on understanding plant responses to environmental stress and developing sustainable approaches in plant science.
Dr. Madhu Prakash Srivastava is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Botany, Maharishi University of Information Technology, Lucknow UP, India. He has successfully completed his Ph.D (Botany) from the Department of Botany at Lucknow University, Lucknow india . He is actively engaged in teaching and research in the arena of Botany and Plant Pathology for the last 12 years. His area of specialization is Mycology, Plant Pathology and Biological Formulation development. He has shown excellent performance during research work and teaching. He has presented more than 40 papers in National /International seminars and conferences.
Dr. Neeraj Jain is currently serving in the capacity of Prof. (Botany, Maharishi School of Sciences) and Dean-Academics of Lucknow campus of Maharishi University of Information Technology, Lucknow. She has also held various other positions at the University in the past like Dean Research, Dean-Maharishi School of Science and Humanities etc. Dr. Jain, an alumnus of University of Lucknow (Lucknow), has completed her Ph. D. in Botany with her research work carried out at CSIR-CIMAP. She has several papers and book chapters to her credit. She has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience.
Pragya Tiwari is an Assistant Professor at the Maharishi School of Agriculture. She completed her M.Sc. (Plant Science) from Lucknow University, Lucknow, and obtained her B.Ed. from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from NIILM University, Haryana. She has published 5 research papers, 6 articles, 1 book chapter, and also holds 1 patent, demonstrating her active involvement in research and innovation. She has participated in various national and international seminars, conferences, and workshops. She continues to contribute to teaching, research, and extension activities with commitment and professional excellence.
