About The Author
D. Kumar ‘Ajasra’ (Durgesh Kumar Meghwal) is currently serving as a Hindi Lecturer at the Government Senior Secondary School, Gudha Nathawatan, Bundi, Rajasthan. He was born on 17 May 1977 in Bundi, Rajasthan—popularly known as Chhoti Kashi—to Shri Prabhulal Meghwal and Smt. Mangibai, in a loving and value-oriented family.
After completing his education, he married Smt. Kalavati Meghwal, daughter of Shri Daulat Ram Ji of Sangod (Kota), in 2002. Considering education as both his life’s mission and profession, he began his teaching journey in the same year while continuing his academic pursuits. In 2008, he formally joined government service as a teacher. Through persistent dedication and hard work, he successfully cleared the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) examination and, in 2017, was directly appointed as a Hindi Lecturer. Since then, he has devoted himself wholeheartedly to Hindi literature and creative writing.
To date, he has published two independent poetry collections—Desh Ki Abha (The Glory of the Nation) and Naye Bol (New Expressions). In addition, his works have appeared in more than 50 collaborative anthologies published by various publishers in India and abroad. His writings have also been featured in literary magazines across India as well as in Sri Lanka, Nepal, Australia, and Canada, earning him wide recognition in the literary community.
